Many mosques. One community.

Every congregation works out its prayer times differently, and until now they hang on the door as a printed sheet. Here you maintain them once, and your members have them on their phone.

Free for associations, with no advertising. 1 congregation has already joined.

What your members see

The app runs on a phone and in a browser. No account, no sign-in, no advertising. Anyone who has not picked an association yet gets the times calculated for where they are, and can switch to yours at any time.

The day at a glance

The next prayer with a countdown, your times below it, and what is still ahead today.

The whole month

Page forwards and back, Friday marked, the Islamic month alongside.

Quran with translation

Arabic from the Tanzil Project, translations you can switch between, bookmarks, search and tajwid colours.

Dhikr and salawat

Counters with a daily target, the familiar formulas with transliteration and meaning.

Open the app in a browser

What you maintain in the portal

One account for the committee and one screen in a browser. What you enter here is on your congregation’s phones shortly afterwards.

Prayer times, the way you calculate them

Calculation method, Asr school, fixed times, offsets, rounding, exceptions for Ramadan and Eid. Not somebody else’s table, yours.

Announcements

Saturday meal for the children, iftar, a lecture. In several languages, with a date they expire, visible in your members’ app.

Urgent notice

A funeral prayer, a time changed at short notice. One sentence, one button, on every phone at once.

Qibla, dhikr, Quran

A compass for the direction of prayer, counters for dhikr and salawat, and the Quran in Arabic with a translation. In the app, without an account.

Donations

Your bank details with a button to copy them. We handle no money and see none of it.

Printed sheet and screen

The month as a printable page for the door, and a display for the screen in the prayer room.

Seven languages in the app

German, Russian, Chechen, Bosnian, Arabic, Turkish, English. You write your announcements in the languages your congregation speaks.

Reminders that arrive

Prayer reminders are scheduled by the phone itself, so they work in a basement with no signal. Only announcements go through the server.

What committees ask first

What does it cost?
Nothing. Masajidu is free for associations, and there is no advertising in the app.
Do we need somebody technical?
No. Anyone who can type up a notice for the door can maintain this. You set the times up once and they carry on from there, including across the clock change.
Who owns our times?
You do. If you enter a fixed time for a prayer, that exact time is what the app shows. We add nothing you did not set.
Who can see what our members do?
Nobody. The app needs no account. For notifications a phone registers with a random identifier, no name and no address. Prayer tracking, counters and bookmarks stay on the device.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. The times are held on the phone and it schedules the reminders itself. Without a signal only new announcements are missing.
Can we stop again?
At any time. Tell us and we take your association out of the app and delete your data.
